The You Report, We Support webform is for reporting an incident of sexual misconduct, harassment, bullying or hate crime to the University
The form is for anyone who has experienced or witnessed an unacceptable event or behaviour including, but not limited to, sexual violence or other sexual misconduct, stalking, racism, homophobia, or other forms of harassment, including online. Your report will be sent to a trained member of the Student Support team who will respond according to the information you provide.
Make a reportYou can report something that has happened to you, or to someone else, and you can choose to report anonymously if you wish. If you choose to report anonymously the University will be limited to how much we can do, however this information is still crucial to understand trends in behaviour and to help manage risk to the overall University community.
If you do not report anonymously, you will be contacted as soon as the team are able to get back to you, and within a maximum of 2 working days. Your Advisor will be able to help you decide on any further steps you would like to take and will be available to support you throughout.
However you choose to report, if you are over 18, your disclosure will not automatically be sent to the police or go to formal University investigation unless you instruct us to do so. We can talk to you about your options and what next steps might entail.
Any information you provide will be treated confidentially and you will be believed.
This form is for non-emergency reports. If an assault has just taken place and you are not in a safe place, feel at risk, or have any injuries that require urgent attention, call the emergency services on 999.
If you are on campus and a member of staff is not in sight, you can call the out of hours duty manager on 07948 425950.

The You Report, We Support tool is underpinned by the University’s Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Misconduct policy.
We also provide our policy and guidance covering personal relationships between university staff and students.
Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Misconduct policy Personal Relationships Between University Colleagues and Students policyAt Norwich University of the Arts, we work directly with students to create a culture of tolerance and respect. Our student designed ‘Draw the Line’ prevention campaign is a message to the entire University community that bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct in all its forms is not tolerated and should be called out. Look out for posters around campus.
Through this campaign and through training sessions with students and staff, we are working together to prevent instances of misconduct from happening and defining the culture we want for our community.
All new students arriving at the university will be invited to attend in-person training covering bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct as well as how to be an active bystander. This training will take place during your first term. All students invited should attend these sessions.
Asynchronous training materials including videos and quizzes are also available to all students on the VLE.
Staff will be invited to complete a mandatory online training module each year covering safeguarding, handling disclosures and the OfS E6 condition aiming to prevent cases of harassment and sexual misconduct.
