Academic Freedom and Freedom of Speech
At Norwich University of the Arts, we champion academic freedom and freedom of speech as essential to creative exploration and critical thinking. We believe that open, respectful dialogue – even when it challenges convention – is vital to a thriving academic and creative community.
We are committed to upholding lawful free expression while creating an environment where every voice can be heard and ideas can be debated constructively. These freedoms underpin our teaching, research, and creative practice – empowering students and staff to question, create, and innovate without fear.
