I am passionate about delivering innovative, student-centred education in digital technologies. My academic journey includes a PhD from Lahore University of Management Sciences and an MSc from Virginia Tech, which shaped my focus on applied research and industry integration. I have also worked at Qualcomm in San Diego, gaining hands-on experience in communication systems and applied computing that directly informs my teaching. I strive to bridge the industry-academia gap through curriculum design that fosters real-world relevance.
Before joining Norwich University of the Arts (NUA), I served as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Management and Technology in Lahore, where I led research initiatives and revamped courses to better align with evolving tech needs. My expertise spans computing, communication systems, networking, and applied machine learning. Above all, I believe in building collaborative, inclusive learning environments that equip students with practical skills and a mindset for lifelong innovation.
