Ben was previously the Dean of the Creative Computing Institute at University of the Arts London (UAL). He brings great experience in portfolio and research innovation, which over the past six years has focused on establishing UAL’s first institute. This included the development of a large portfolio of computing and creative technology undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses. Allied to this provision, he also led the development of a significant new strength and profile in interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, Ben will deputise in all areas for the Vice-Chancellor and lead on the development of the University’s academic strategy. He brings a commitment to the ongoing enhancement of the staff and student experience, the expansion of the course portfolio and the internationalisation of the institution – advocating nationally and internationally for our distinctive range of creative and academic activities at Norwich.
