NUA Lecturer hosts Q&A with Director Sonita Gale for BAFTA documentary

BA (Hons) Animation Lecturer Anna Blagrove recently hosted a Director Q&A at the Picture House Cinema City screening of Hostile, a documentary disclosing the adversarial immigration environment in the UK created through historical events and current government policies.

The BAFTA longlisted documentary and South London Film Festival winner, directed by film producer Sonita Gale, focuses on the impact of the evolving ‘hostile environment’ policies, which are designed to make living conditions so difficult for migrants that they voluntarily leave the country.

Hostile will be showing around the country, with tickets available for upcoming screenings on the official site for the documentary.
