Students work on easels in Munnings Drawings Studio at Norwich University of the Arts
A student with long straight hair draws in pencil at a wooden easel. In the background, large scientific posters show the musculature of the human body.

Munnings Drawing Studio

Named after Sir Alfred Munnings, it features space for Life Drawing Classes used by students — on both undergraduate and postgraduate courses — from fine art, fashion, textile design, illustration, games, and animation.

The Munnings Drawing Studio is located in one of the studios used by Sir Alfred Munnings himself in the original Norwich Technical Institute building on Duke Street and is supported by a bank of specialist life models.

The workshop is a flexible space; if you wish to book the workshop or any equipment please contact the Technician or your course leader.

Students can find more information about using the Munnings Drawing Studio on its Intranet page.
