Fashion Communication and Promotion student starts her own brand and is set to launch on ASOS Marketplace
Yasmin Welch, a first year BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion student who owns her own pre-loved fashion brand ‘Re.labelled’, is selling her 200-piece collection on ASOS Marketplace, in her local community and pop-up shops around Norwich
Borne from her interest in second hand fashion, Yasmin has grown her hobby into a vibrant and sustainable business. She has considered changing from Fashion Communication and Promotion to Fashion Marketing and Business to strengthen her brand and marketing knowledge.
Her business journey started on Vinted, where she sold garments from top designer names such as Vivienne Westwood and Chanel, which she sourced from car boot sales and charity shops.
“My main goal is to work for myself, I’ve always had this mindset even before I had a brand.”
“During university I hope for my brand to grow and to hopefully have this as my full time job”
