Norwich graduates recognised in TIGA Graduate of the Year 2024

Four graduates from Norwich University of the Arts have been awarded Outstanding TIGA Graduate of the Year.

TIGA, the trade association which represents the UK video games industry, has recognised a selection of the most impressive graduates from across the UK. Judges from the TIGA Education Committee reviewed the submissions and evidence of the students’ work. TIGA then awarded each student the accolade of ‘TIGA Graduate of the Year’ or ‘TIGA Post-Graduate of the Year’ in recognition of their excellent work.

The following graduates were awarded the prestigious accolade in their particular fields:

In addition, all graduates above have been named in TIGA’s shortlist for the TIGA UK Games Education Awards 2024. Student work from Norwich University of the Arts was also recognised in this shortlist, with Rider City Rush, by Ian Pettersen, named in the ‘Best Student Game’ category. Winners of each category will be revealed by TIGA in a ceremony later this year.

TIGA is the trade association that represents the UK’s video games industry. The TIGA UK Games Education Awards 2024 aim to promote outstanding students, education providers and best practice within the games sector. The committee determine winners of the awards on criteria including exam results, module grades and the quality of showreels, portfolios and projects undertaken.
