Norwich University of the Arts Eases Financial Burden for Prospective Students Attending Open Days
Prospective students who attend an Open Day at Norwich University of the Arts will have some of their travel expenses reimbursed as part of the University’s drive to help applicants during the cost-of-living crisis.
Norwich University of the Arts will reimburse travel costs up to £75, for people who travel 50* miles and over to attend an Open Day.
Open Days give prospective students a valuable opportunity to explore courses, tour the campus, meet current students and course tutors, and get a real sense of life in Norwich.
Professor Simon Ofield-Kerr, Vice-Chancellor of Norwich University of the Arts said “Visiting a university, to get a sense of what student life might be like for you, is an important part of the university application process. We want to make it possible for more people to visit Norwich, so that students and their families can attend our Open Days without financial burden.”
He added, “There are so many staff and students who are keen to share their passion for our university and city. We believe that first-hand experiences leave a lasting impression on our visitors.
“We are proud that Norwich continues to improve its standing as one of the UK’s leading creative arts providers. This year our teaching was rated as among the best in the country and we were the only specialist creative arts and design University to be awarded a triple gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023. We are delighted to support more people to visit our vibrant city centre campus and learn about our practice-based courses and industry-led approach.”
